Exotic pets need wellness examinations just like cats and dogs.
A large number of health problems can be avoided with early diagnosis or correction of husbandry issues. Exotic pets may hide their signs of illness until it is too late, so early detection of problems is best.
Not all veterinarians know or have experience in how to care for exotic animals. Here at Animal Care Associates, we have several veterinarians with over 25 years of experience.
Who Do We See?
We see a wide variety of exotics:

We do NOT see the following animals:

- Venomous snakes or reptiles
- Non-human primates (monkeys)
- Wild animals kept as pets
- Wolves or wolf-hybrid breeds
- Pigs
- Farm or large animals
- Flocks of birds
- Exotic cats or Wild cats
